HR Assistant

Recruitment and Onboarding

• Driver Recruitment: Assist in recruiting drivers by reviewing applications, and conducting pre-screen interviews and interviews.
• Onboarding: Facilitate new hire orientation, ensure all required documents (e.g., DOT compliance forms) are completed, and introduce new employees to company policies.

Administrative Support

• Communication: Handle employee correspondences, such as scheduling interviews or following up on compliance paperwork.
• Office Organization: Maintain an organized filing system for personnel and compliance documents.
• Reporting: Quickly and effectively communicate any recruitment related or safety compliance issues to Supervisor.

Compliance and Record keeping

• DOT Compliance: Maintain records required by the Department of Transportation (DOT), including driver logs, hours of service, and medical certifications.
• Employee Records: Update and manage employee files, such as training certifications, payroll information, and performance evaluations.
• Safety Programs: Support the development and tracking of safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Employee Relations

• Driver Support: Act as a point of contact for drivers to address concerns related to work conditions, schedules, or company policies.
• Conflict Resolution: Help mediate disputes and foster a positive work environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
