HR Assistant

Job Summary

Smartix is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our HR operations, with a focus on payroll, statutory compliance, recruitment, and employee administration. The role involves managing day-to-day HR activities, maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating recruitment processes, and ensuring HR processes are completed efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records.
• Handle statutory compliance and related HR documentation.
• Support recruitment and selection, including candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and hiring.
• Conduct and coordinate recruitment activities as required.
• Be willing to travel for recruitment drives, interviews, and hiring activities.
• Maintain employee attendance, leave, and other HR records.
• Assist with employee onboarding and joining formalities.
• Prepare HR reports and documentation.
• Address employee queries related to HR and payroll.
• Ensure HR processes are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in HR, especially in Payroll, Statutory Compliance, and Recruitment.
• Good knowledge of HR processes and statutory requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel for recruitment purposes.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and HR software is an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
