Opportunity Summary A leading Los Angeles law firm is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to support attorney and staff recruiting along with day-to-day HR. You'll shape the candidate experience from first interview to first day , helping the firm compete for and keep top legal talent in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule interviews, coordinate interviewer availability, and follow up with candidates
• Prepare interview materials, including candidate resumes
• Assist with offer letters and coordinate reference, background, and conflicts checks
• Process new hire paperwork, coordinate orientation sessions, and keep personnel and I-9 records compliant
• Support the Director of HR with benefits enrollment, training, and employee engagement activities

Qualifications Required

• 1-2 years of administrative, HR, or recruiting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree; HR, recruiting, or legal industry coursework a plus
• Prior law firm or professional services experience
• Experience with an HRIS
