Are you detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in the field of Human Resources? J Bar J Youth Services is looking for a dedicated HR Assistant to support our team in maintaining personnel records, coordinating recruitment efforts, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. This is a full-time based at our Administrative Office.

What You’ll Do:

• Organize and maintain personnel files for employees.
• Track compliance documentation, including training and inspections.
• Perform file audits to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Assist with recruitment, including screening resumes and contacting candidates.
• Manage onboarding processes and electronic documentation through DocuSign.
• Submit and track background checks and drug screenings.
• Support HR projects, audits, and retention initiatives.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in office equipment and basic Excel knowledge.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience handling confidential information and maintaining filing systems.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• HR/Payroll: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:
