HR Assistant Manager

Job Scope

Recruitment

• Manage end-to-end recruitment: job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand headcount needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.

Training & Development

• Identify training needs across departments through TNA (training needs analysis).
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate training programs, both internal and external.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with statutory training requirements (e.g., HRD Corp claimable courses).

Occupational Safety & Health (OSH)

• Coordinate OSH programs in line with local statutory requirements (e.g., OSHA /DOSH).
• Organize safety briefings, risk assessments, and workplace inspections.
• Maintain OSH documentation, incident reports, and compliance records, and act as key contact for audit

Employee Engagement & Events

• Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, company events, and celebrations.
• Manage event logistics, budgets, and vendor coordination.
• Design and run employee feedback initiatives (e.g., surveys) and translate insights into action plans.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant HR experience.
• Proficient in English, Mandarin and Malay for internal stakeholder communication.
• Proficient in Employment Law and OSHA. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
