HR Assistant (Payroll)

About the role

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for daily-paid employees, including coordinating with HR on attendance disputes, ensuring accurate deductions, preparing and verifying bank files, and handling statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for daily-paid employees
• Coordinate with HR Timekeeping on attendance disputes and adjustments
• Ensure accurate deductions (LBR, loans, charges) from salaries
• Prepare and verify bank files/checks; transmit cash salaries promptly
• Handle statutory deductions/loans with HR CompBen and Accounting (BIR forms, variance checks, payments)
• Address payroll concerns and assist employees without ATM/cash cards
• Verify agency billing and coordinate with Accounts Payable
• Hold last salary and compute final pay for separated employees
• Prepare payroll reports for supervisor review
• Stay updated on statutory benefits and company policies

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Human Resources, Psychology, or any related field
• Excellent mathematical skills and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Knowledgeable in MS Applications (Word, Excel, and PPT)
• Good oral communication and analytical skills
