HR Associate

About the role

The HR Associate plays a key role in supporting the Human Resources department in various functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and legal compliance. They assist in maintaining HR records, coordinating HR processes, and ensuring smooth operations within the HR department.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update HR reports, trackers, and employee databases
• Manage employee attendance, leave monitoring, timekeeping, and payroll coordination
• Coordinate with employees, supervisors, and department heads regarding HR requirements and documentation
• Ensure proper implementation of company policies and due process procedures
• Assist in preparing HR-related documents such as employment certificates, notices, memos, forms, and other correspondence
• Assist employees with basic HR-related inquiries and concerns professionally and confidentially
• Assist in onboarding and offboarding of employees such as posting job openings, candidate coordination, and preparing relevant requirements and documents
• Coordinate with government agencies when necessary, including DOLE and NLRC matters to ensure compliance
• Provide HR administrative support and perform other duties assigned by management

About you

• Experience coordinating and facilitating talent recruitment, from initial personnel assessment to employee onboarding to off-boarding
• Experience handling payroll and timekeeping administration processes
• Experience handling and coordinating employee records (201 files) and HR documentation
• Experience with communicating and ensuring policy compliance amongst employees
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 1-2 years of experience in HR or a related role
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Familiarity with labor laws and HR compliance requirements in the Philippines
