Compensation

Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary

Summary:

The HR Associate collaborates closely with HRBP's, Supervisor of Operations, HRIS Coordinator and Payroll department. The HR Associate maintains the life-cycle of employees in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), including new hires, changes, separations, position maintenance, pay rate, education, experience, tax Information, and direct deposit.

Must maintain strict confidentiality of employee information. All information must be handled responsibility and in accordance with company policies. Provides back up to HR Assistant as needed.

Qualifications

Education Required

• Must complete in-house orientation program

• High School Diploma required, College Degree preferred.

Experience And Skills

• Speaks, reads and writes English

• Must have at least 2 years human resources experience

• Must demonstrate working knowledge of HRIS Systems, Microsoft Office, and office equipmen t.

• Must possess excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.

• Must be able to work in high-volume/fast paced department and meet payroll deadlines.

• Bi-Lingual in Spanish preferred.
