HR ASSOCIATE

About the role

We are seeking an HR Associate to join the Human Resources team at Benson Industrial Cold Storage Inc. This is a full-time position based in Tunasan, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. As an HR Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of human resources services across the organisation, working collaboratively with the HR team to ensure effective people management and compliance with employment regulations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your HR expertise within a growing industrial cold storage company whilst contributing meaningfully to our organisational success.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the recruitment and onboarding process, including job posting, candidate screening, interview scheduling and new employee orientation
• Maintaining and updating employee records, personnel files and HR databases in compliance with data protection regulations
• Assisting with payroll administration, leave management and attendance tracking
• Providing administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, preparing documentation and managing correspondence
• Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Assisting with employee engagement initiatives, including events, training programmes and wellness activities
• Responding to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits and general employment matters
• Contributing to the preparation of HR reports and metrics for management review
• Supporting compliance with local employment laws and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in a human resources or administrative role
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labour laws and employment regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
• Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling sensitive employee information
• A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle employee relations matters with discretion and confidentiality
• Knowledge of HR information systems and recruitment platforms would be advantageous
