HR Associate

About the role

DATEM INC. is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Associate to join our Human Resources team on a full-time basis. Based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, this role represents a great opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of our organization that will help you develop your HR career.

Key responsibilities

• Providing administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining employee records, processing documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies

• Assisting with the management of employee benefits, payroll coordination and benefits inquiries from employees and workers

• Contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and guidelines that align with company objectives

• Maintaining accurate HR documentation and databases whilst ensuring data confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations

• Assisting with the preparation of HR reports and analytics to support strategic decision-making

• Supporting compliance activities related to employment legislation and regulatory requirements

• Coordinating HR events and training initiatives to support employee development and engagement

What we're looking for

• A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• 1-2 years of experience in an HR role particularly with compensation and benefit administration
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to interact professionally with staff at all levels
• Proficiency with HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• A solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices relevant to the Philippines
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and confidentiality
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team whilst also demonstrating initiative and independent problem-solving
• A genuine interest in supporting employee wellbeing and fostering a positive workplace culture
• Preferred experience with compensation and benefits or payroll administration
