HR Business Relationship Manager

We are partnering with our client to search for a confident, high caliber, strategic HR leader to fill the role of HR Business Relationship Manager. The role plays a strategic role in aligning HR practices with business objectives within banking group. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, the HR Business Relationship Manager provides thought leadership and guidance in areas such as talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management. The role demands a deep understanding of the banking landscape, including its unique talent demands, regulatory nuances and dynamic working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior leadership in the banking group to define and execute talent strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Serve as a consultant to leadership on human capital initiatives, workforce planning, and organizational change.
• Lead performance management, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
• Oversee employee relations, ensuring resolution of complex issues with a focus on compliance, risk mitigation, and employee engagement.
• Analyse HR metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve retention, engagement, and performance.
• Collaborate with peers (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, L&D) to ensure alignment of HR programs and services.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the team.
• Support organizational development activity, workforce integration, and other change initiatives from a people perspective.
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and internal policies, particularly relevant in financial services.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD, HRCI) would be a plus.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in a strategic HRBP role.
• Experience in handling HRBP role for multi-countries and regions would be a plus.
• Strong experience in financial services is preferable
• Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success managing organizational change, restructuring, and talent initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge of employment law and regulatory considerations in the financial sector.
• High emotional intelligence, discretion, and resilience under pressure.
