HR Compliance Coordinator

New York Health Care, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Representative to join our Jamaica location. You'll ensure regulatory compliance, chart maintenance and recordkeeping.

HOURS:

M-F: 9am-5pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Review, approve, and activate new hire files
• Verify government employment documentation (I-9 forms, medical documents, homecare certification)
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations, and company policies
• Upload orientation, in-service paperwork etc.
• Manage NYS Homecare Registry and CHRC
• Conduct and prepare orientation and PCA classes
• Respond to compliance inquiries and concerns, chart requests
• Front desk coverage
• Other duties as needed for the department by manager

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable with HHAexchange database
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, solve practical problems, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changes
• Goal and detail-oriented
• Experience with compliance/onboarding/recruiting is highly preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Creole is a HUGE PLUS!
