HR Data Analyst

An HR Data Analyst collects, analyzes, and interprets workforce data to provide insights that guide HR strategies in hiring, retention, compensation, and employee engagement. S/He builds dashboards, reports, and predictive models to support decision-making and ensure HR practices are data-driven.

Job Responsibilities

• Gathers workforce data from HRIS, payroll, recruitment, and performance systems.
• Validates and maintains accuracy of HR data through audits and quality checks.
• Identifies trends in employee turnover, engagement, hiring, and compensation.
• Prepares regular and ad-hoc reports for HR leaders and management.
• Creates dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
• Develops predictive models to anticipate workforce needs and HR challenges.
• Ensures HR data reporting meets legal and regulatory requirements.
• Works closely with HR teams to provide insights that guide decision-making.
• Translates raw data into actionable recommendations for HR strategies.
• Suggests enhancements to HR processes based on data-driven findings

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field.
• 2+ years in data analysis, preferably in HR or people analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with HRIS systems, workforce planning, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to build statistical models and apply AI-assisted analytics for predictive insights.
