HR Driver – Waste Management

• Monday to Friday

• 5:00am – 1:00pm + overtime when required

• $45.45 per hour base rate

About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of waste management and environmental services across the Mackay and Moranbah regions. With a strong focus on safety, reliability, and sustainable waste solutions, they provide essential services to local communities, commercial operations, and resource-sector clients.

With a strong commitment to their people and safe work practices, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Driver to join a supportive team with the potential to secure a permanent position.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Operating HR waste management vehicles safely and efficiently across Mackay and Moranbah.

• Undertaking residential, commercial, and/or industrial waste collection services.

• Completing scheduled waste collection runs in a safe and timely manner.

• Operating vehicle-mounted waste collection equipment and associated controls.

• Conducting pre-start checks and reporting any vehicle or equipment faults.

• Ensuring waste is collected, transported, and disposed of in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.

• Completing required paperwork, documentation, and collection records.

• Maintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and presentation.

• Working as part of a team to ensure daily collection schedules and service requirements are met.

• Following all site, road, environmental, and workplace health and safety requirements.

What You Will Need:

• Current HR Driver’s Licence.

• Previous experience operating HR vehicles, preferably within waste management, logistics, transport, or a similar environment.

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

• Ability to safely operate vehicles and waste collection equipment.

• Good communication skills and a professional approach to customers and members of the public.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable transport and a strong attendance record.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening, if required.
