JOB DESCRIPTION – HR EXECUTIVE

Designation: HR Executive
Department: Human Resources
Location: Plant / Manufacturing Unit
Reporting To: HR Manager / Plant Head

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Executive to manage and support key HR functions, with primary responsibility for Recruitment, Hiring, Joining Formalities, Training & Development, and Employee Engagement at the plant.

The candidate should preferably have experience working in a manufacturing or plant environment and should be capable of coordinating with department heads and employees at all levels.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Hiring

• Handle end-to-end recruitment for plant manpower requirements.
• Source candidates through job portals, references, consultants, and local recruitment sources.
• Coordinate with HODs for manpower planning and hiring requirements.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial HR interviews.
• Schedule and coordinate technical interviews with concerned department heads.
• Manage hiring for Operators, Helpers, Engineers, Supervisors, and Staff.
• Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate databases.
• Ensure timely joining of selected candidates.

2. Joining & Onboarding

• Handle employee joining formalities and documentation.
• Prepare and maintain employee personnel files.
• Conduct induction and orientation programs for new employees.
• Explain company policies, rules, safety requirements, and discipline procedures.
• Coordinate with concerned departments for smooth onboarding of new employees.

3. Training & Development

• Identify training needs in coordination with HODs and Plant Management.
• Prepare monthly and annual training calendars.
• Organize technical, behavioral, safety, quality, and skill development training programs.
• Maintain training attendance and training records.
• Conduct employee induction training.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and collect feedback.
• Coordinate with internal and external trainers as required.
• Maintain employee skill matrix and training compliance records.

4. Employee Engagement & HR Operations

• Support employee engagement and motivation activities.
• Address employee grievances and coordinate with management for resolution.
• Ensure implementation of company HR policies and disciplinary procedures.
• Coordinate with employees and department heads regarding HR-related matters.
• Support performance management and employee development activities.

5. HR MIS & Documentation

• Maintain recruitment, joining, training, and employee records.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HR reports.
• Maintain manpower reports and vacancy status.
• Ensure proper documentation as per company and audit requirements.
• Support HR compliance and internal audit activities.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Recruitment and Talent Acquisition.
• Experience in Training & Development.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle plant-level workforce.
• Knowledge of HR policies and employee lifecycle processes.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong coordination and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple hiring requirements.

Qualification

MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.

Experience

4–6 years of experience in HR, preferably in a Manufacturing / Automotive / Engineering Plant.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
