About us

We are an artificial intelligence and technology company delivering advanced analytics, AI platforms and engineering services to clients across the government, financial services, energy and healthcare sectors.

We are a small, fast-moving team building a serious company from the ground up. You will have direct access to management and real ownership of your function.

The role

We are looking for an HR Executive to run the day-to-day human resources function and help build our HR systems, policies and processes from an early stage. This is a hands-on generalist role, not a specialist one — you will touch recruitment, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, employee records and policy work in the same week.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end recruitment: job postings, screening, interview scheduling, candidate evaluation and offer documentation
• Handle onboarding, induction, probation reviews and exit clearance
• Maintain employee records and personnel files in line with PDPA 2010 requirements
• Prepare and coordinate monthly payroll inputs, claims and overtime with the finance function
• Administer statutory contributions and submissions — EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/LHDN and HRDF
• Administer leave, attendance and benefits, including medical and insurance coverage
• Draft and maintain HR policies, the employee handbook and standard HR templates
• Support the performance appraisal cycle and training/HRDF claims
• Handle employee relations, grievances and disciplinary documentation with discretion
• Prepare HR reports for management — headcount, turnover, payroll summary, leave and workforce planning
• Support general office governance and compliance matters as required

What we are looking for

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
• 2–4 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in an SME or professional services environment
• Working knowledge of the Employment Act 1955, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and HRDF requirements
• Experience with payroll processing or payroll systems
• Strong written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word
• High level of discretion, integrity and confidentiality
• Organised, self-directed and comfortable working without a large HR department behind you

Advantageous

• Experience setting up HR policies, SOPs or systems from scratch
• Exposure to technology, consulting or government-linked project environments
• Experience preparing HRDF grant applications and claims
