About the role

We are seeking an HR Executive to join AWAGYU SDN. BHD. in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in supporting and developing our human resources function. As an HR Executive, you will be at the heart of our people operations, contributing to the strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR activities that drive our organisation's success. This role is essential in ensuring that our workforce is engaged, supported, and aligned with our company values and objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Providing administrative support to the HR department, including recruitment coordination, employee records management, and documentation
• Assisting with the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and candidate screening to interview coordination and onboarding
• Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that promote a positive workplace culture
• Processing employee transactions including leave requests, benefits administration, and payroll coordination
• Conducting induction and orientation programmes for new employees
• Assisting with employee relations matters, including performance management support and disciplinary procedures
• Maintaining HR databases and systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee information
• Supporting training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career progression
• Liaising with external parties such as government agencies, insurance providers, and service vendors on HR-related matters
• Contributing to HR projects and special initiatives as required

What we're looking for

• Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–4 years in an HR or HR support role; experience with recruitment, candidate management, employee benefits administration, and payroll processes is highly desirable.
• Legal & Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law, HR best practices, HR management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking ability, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Interpersonal & Professional Standards: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with absolute confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee information and HR matters.
