HR Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible HR Executive – Blue Collar / Contractor Management to manage industrial manpower, fabrication contractors, attendance, wage calculations, contractor documentation, and day-to-day workforce-related activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in blue-collar manpower management, contractor handling, manpower sourcing, wage calculation, and industrial HR operations. The candidate should be comfortable coordinating with contractors, workshop teams, management, and the Accounts department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day fabrication contractor and blue-collar manpower-related issues.
• Handle and resolve contractor, worker, attendance, discipline, and work-related concerns.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure adequate manpower availability as per workshop and project requirements.
• Source, identify, and onboard new fabrication contractors and blue-collar manpower as required.
• Negotiate contractor rates and commercial terms, subject to management approval.
• Maintain an updated contractor database, including contact details, manpower strength, rates, agreements, and performance records.
• Maintain contractor-related documentation, agreements, attendance records, and other HR records.
• Verify daily/monthly attendance and manpower deployment.
• Calculate contractor wages/salary based on attendance, agreed rates, work performed, and applicable terms.
• Verify contractor bills and supporting documents before processing.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Department for contractor bill processing and payment.
• Monitor contractor performance, worker discipline, attendance, productivity, and manpower requirements.
• Coordinate with workshop/project teams regarding manpower planning and deployment.
• Ensure timely resolution of workforce-related issues to avoid disruption to workshop/project activities.
• Maintain proper records and reports related to contractors and blue-collar manpower.
• Support management in other HR and manpower-related activities as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in industrial HR, blue-collar workforce management, or contractor management.
• Strong experience in contractor handling and manpower management.
• Experience in blue-collar manpower sourcing and recruitment.
• Good knowledge of attendance and wage calculation.
• Strong negotiation and contractor coordination skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle worker and contractor-related issues professionally.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic HR documentation.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with management, contractors, workshop teams, and Accounts.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with experience in fabrication, engineering, manufacturing, construction, or industrial companies will be preferred.
• Should be comfortable working with a large blue-collar workforce and multiple contractors.
• Should have a practical, hands-on approach to industrial HR and manpower management.
• Strong local manpower/contractor network will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
