HR Executive

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic HR Executive to join our growing Human Resources team at CL TAN ENGINEERING SDN. BHD., a leading provider of electrical engineering services. This is a full-time position based in Cheras.

As an HR Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting our human resources and employee relations functions, ensuring smooth HR operations and contributing to a positive workplace culture. This position is integral to maintaining strong employer-employee relationships and supporting the strategic goals of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily HR administrative activities and maintain employee records.
• Handle recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
• Prepare employment letters, HR documents, and employee correspondence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Assist with payroll preparation and attendance and leave administration.
• Handle employee inquiries and provide HR support.
• Assist in implementing company HR policies and procedures.
• Coordinate staff training and development activities when required.
• Ensure HR documentation complies with company policies and applicable employment requirements.
• Assist with other HR and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an HR Executive or similar HR support role.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, labour regulations, and industrial relations practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
• Proficiency in HR management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of recruitment best practices and employee engagement strategies.
• Experience in industrial and employee relations is highly desirable.
