VACANCY: HUMAN RESOURCES EXECUTIVE

On Point Logistics and Projects is establishing an executive team to support its implementation and operational growth. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Human Resources Executive to develop and lead the company’s human-resources function.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s human-resources strategy.

• Establish HR policies, procedures and employee-management systems.

• Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding and workforce planning.

• Prepare employment contracts, job descriptions and personnel records.

• Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation.

• Manage employee relations, grievances and disciplinary processes.

• Coordinate performance-management and employee-development programmes.

• Develop remuneration, benefits and staff-retention strategies.

• Oversee training, skills development and succession planning.

• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

• Advise the CEO and executive team on employment and organisational matters.

• Promote a professional, inclusive and performance-driven workplace culture.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations or a related field.

• At least 5–7 years of relevant human-resources experience.

• Previous HR management or senior leadership experience.

• Strong knowledge of the LRA, BCEA, EEA, Skills Development Act and related employment legislation.

• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management and policy development.

• Excellent leadership, communication, administration and problem-solving skills.

• SABPP registration or another relevant professional designation will be advantageous.
