HR Executive

About the role

This role provides comprehensive HR support across expatriate management, payroll and attendance, training and development, recruitment, employee records, employee relations, HR compliance, and HR administration functions.

Key responsibilities

• Handle expatriate visa and work permit applications, renewals, cancellations, onboarding, relocation and repatriation arrangements
• Support monthly payroll processing, attendance, leave, overtime, shift schedules, allowances and statutory documentation
• Identify training needs, prepare training plans and budgets, coordinate training programmes, manage HRDC claims and support talent development initiatives
• Support recruitment activities, candidate screening, interview coordination, new employee onboarding and induction training
• Maintain accurate employee files, HR records, immigration documents and databases
• Handle employee inquiries, grievances, disciplinary matters and HR-related issues
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment and immigration regulations, company policies and audit requirements
• Prepare HR reports, coordinate with internal departments and external agencies, and perform other HR duties as assigned

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

• 2-4 years of experience in HR, administration or similar roles, preferably in a manufacturing sector environment

• Proficiency in HR management systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of staff

• Proactive approach with problem-solving capabilities and a customer service mentality

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally

• Good command of Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin and English
