Job Role : HR Execuitve
Work Time : 9:30 AM to 9 PM

Core Payroll Responsibilities

• Salary Disbursement: Calculate monthly gross and net pay, ensuring salaries are paid accurately and on time.
• Data Integration: Collect and verify inputs for attendance, leaves, overtime, and salary revisions.
• Payslips & Reporting: Generate transparent payslips, compensation statements, and internal audit reports.
• Query Resolution: Address staff questions regarding salary structures, deductions, and tax calculations.

Statutory Compliance Responsibilities (India Context)

• Provident Fund (EPF): Track and deposit employee (12%) and employer (12% / split components) contributions under the EPF Act, and file periodic returns.
• Employee State Insurance (ESI): Manage ESI deductions (0.75% employee, 3.25% employer) for eligible wage brackets and submit filings.
• Tax Deducted at Source (TDS): Withhold income tax from salaries as per tax slabs and deposit it with the government.
• Professional Tax & LWF: Deduct and remit state-specific Professional Tax and Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) contributions.
• Wage & Benefit Laws: Ensure adherence to the Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, Payment of Bonus Act, Payment of Gratuity Act, and Maternity Benefit Act.
• Regulatory Updates: Monitor central and state labor notifications, budget changes, and statutory updates (such as shifting labor codes or income tax rules) to prevent severe financial penalties or legal risks.
