HR EXECUTIVE (GENERALIST)

Key Responsibilities

As our HR Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the full spectrum of Human Resource functions, including:

• Managing recruitment, selection, onboarding and employee orientation.
• Administering payroll, attendance, leave management and employee records.
• Handling employee confirmation, transfers, promotions and contract renewals.
• Assisting in employee disciplinary matters, domestic inquiries and employee relations.
• Ensuring compliance with the Sabah Labour Ordinance and other applicable employment legislation.
• Coordinating staff training programmes and HRD Corp grant applications.
• Managing employee performance appraisal processes.
• Planning and coordinating employee engagement and welfare activities.
• Preparing HR reports, workforce statistics and management reports.
• Liaising with government agencies including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and other statutory authorities.
• Assisting in the development, review and implementation of HR policies, procedures and best practices.
• Assisting in the development, review, refinement and continuous enhancement of the Company's Employee Handbook to ensure compliance with legislation and organisational objectives.
• Supporting the HR Manager and Directors on strategic HR initiatives and special projects.
• Performing other HR and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Candidates with approximately 3 years of HR experience are encouraged to apply.
• Applicants with more extensive HR experience are also welcome. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience and capability.
• Good working knowledge of the Sabah Labour Ordinance and current HR best practices.
• Experience in payroll administration, statutory submissions and HRMS systems is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision while contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence and own transport.
• Willing to travel regularly between the Company's offices and site offices.
• Experience in the property development and/or construction industry will be an added advantage.
• Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply. Due to the operational nature of the role, which requires frequent travel between branches and project sites, candidates who are comfortable with regular travel and site visits will be at an advantage.
