HR Executive (Retail) | EXY

About this Role

Support the retail business as an HR Business Partner, working closely with Operations and Store Managers on recruitment, manpower planning, employee relations and day-to-day HR matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations and Store Managers on manpower and employee matters.
• Provide HR support on recruitment, performance, attendance, retention and employee relations.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for frontline, supervisory and store management roles.
• Plan manpower requirements and maintain candidate pipelines for high-volume hiring.
• Conduct screening, interviews, selection, offers and onboarding.
• Handle employee queries, grievances, performance and disciplinary matters.
• Support performance reviews, talent development, succession planning and training.
• Prepare HR documentation and maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Coordinate with Payroll/HR teams on attendance, employee movements and payroll matters.
• Support HR reporting, manpower budgeting and other HR projects.
• Conduct regular store visits and engage with frontline teams.

Key Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.

• Approximately 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably within retail, F&B, hospitality, FMCG or another manpower-intensive environment.

• Strong hands-on experience in recruitment and HR business partnering.

• Comfortable managing high-volume frontline recruitment and working with operational managers.

• Good understanding of employee relations and general employment practices.

• Proactive, resourceful and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Able and willing to conduct regular store visits and maintain close engagement with frontline operations.
