HR General Manager

Qualification :

1. Education: At least bachelor's degree in field of Human Resources, Public Administration or General Management, or related.

2. [Must have] Direct experience: 12-15 years or more of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in the automotive or large-scale manufacturing industry.

3. Japanese companies experience: 3-5 years or more of experience in a Japanese organization is recommended to gain an understanding of Japanese work culture.

4. Regional experience: 2-3 years or more of experience in HR policy management or coordinating with overseas affiliates at the regional level will be considered an advantage.

5. Language skills:

   1. [Must have] Fluent in English language (TOEIC score at least 600+) are required for communication with branches in APAC.
   2. Having the ability to communicate in Japanese will be an advantage in the consideration process.

6. Automotive Quality & Compliance Audits:

   1. IATF 16949 & ISO 9001 Compliance (HR Section), J-SOX (HR Internal Control)

7. Advanced Labor Relations & Legal Mastery:

   1. Has an understanding of collective bargaining and union negotiations.
   2. Deep knowledge of Labor Law and related law (PDPA, Personal Income Tax, SSO, etc.)

8. Strategic Resilience & Consensus Adaptability:

   1. Ability to handle high pressure and understand the Japanese decision-making system (consensus-based decision-making).

Role and Responsibility :

1. Human Resource Management (HRM) & Regional Governance:

   1. Management of the employee performance evaluation and performance management systems.
   2. Ensure labor cost aligned with company objectives and business situation.

2. Human Resource Development (HRD) & Corporate Culture:

   1. Manage company training & development plan to align with Department of Skill Development (DSD) and company requirement.
   2. Lead talent management and succession planning initiatives to support business continuity.

3. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

   1. Plan workforce and manpower requirements in alignment with business goals.
   2. Develop and oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.

4. General Affairs (GA) & Employee Relations (ER):

   1. Manage company activities and workplace management to ensure efficiency, safety, occupational health, and relevant regulations.
   2. Assist and support Top Management into any final consideration related with employee issue.

5. Compensation & Benefits (C&B):

   1. Develop and manage compensation and benefits strategies and policies.
   2. Oversee the system for calculating salaries, bonuses, and overtime (OT) to ensure 100% accuracy.

6. Expatriate Management:

   1. Oversee the accuracy of legal documents for visas and work permits, utilizing BOI privileges for faster processing.
   2. To help coordinate efforts to bridge cultural gaps, enabling Japanese to adapt smoothly to working with Thais and other nationalities in APAC region.
