What they need

Job Description: HR Generalist

Department: Human Resources

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Industry: Education / Training

Experience Required: 3–5 Years

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly disciplined, proactive, and execution-driven HR Generalist who can independently manage HR operations, enforce workplace policies, drive employee accountability, and ensure consistent adherence to performance standards across teams.

This role goes beyond traditional HR administration and recruitment coordination. The ideal candidate must be confident in handling challenging employee situations, addressing performance gaps, enforcing company policies, and maintaining workplace discipline in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

We are seeking someone who takes ownership, ensures accountability, and focuses on execution rather than merely coordinating tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including candidate screening, interview coordination, selection follow-ups, and employee onboarding.
  • Attendance & Discipline Management: Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, break timings, working hours, and overall workplace discipline.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track employee performance, review productivity metrics, ensure timely reporting, and follow up on performance commitments.
  • Policy Implementation: Ensure strict adherence to company policies, workplace guidelines, professional conduct, and operational procedures.
  • Employee Accountability: Address performance issues, attendance irregularities, policy violations, and recurring gaps through timely intervention and appropriate corrective action.
  • Escalation Management: Handle employee concerns and difficult conversations professionally while escalating critical issues to management when required.
  • HR Operations & Documentation: Maintain accurate employee records, attendance trackers, performance reports, HR documentation, and operational MIS.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify operational inefficiencies, compliance gaps, and recurring employee-related challenges, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Employee Engagement: Support employee engagement and retention initiatives while maintaining clear expectations around discipline, productivity, and accountability.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Work closely with team leaders and managers to ensure consistent implementation of HR processes and performance standards.

Key Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in HR Operations, HR Generalist, or People Operations.
  • Strong ownership, follow-up, and execution capabilities.
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations, employee grievances, and disciplinary matters with professionalism and confidence.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and process-management skills.
  • Experience tracking employee performance, productivity metrics, attendance, and operational reports.
  • Ability to enforce policies consistently and ensure accountability across teams.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and escalation-management skills.
  • Experience working with sales teams, recruitment teams, or other target-driven environments will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Who Should Apply?

We are looking for an HR professional who is comfortable taking responsibility, addressing issues directly, driving process adherence, and ensuring that employees meet organizational expectations.

This role is best suited for candidates who combine strong HR fundamentals with operational ownership, employee discipline, and performance management capabilities.

Candidates looking for purely administrative, documentation-focused, or coordination-only HR roles may not be the right fit.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

  • Provident Fund
