HR Generalist

About the role

As HR Manager – Generalist & Recruitment, you will oversee all aspects of human resources, from developing strategies and policies to driving recruitment and fostering a positive work culture. You will play a critical role in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and practices that support business goals and enhance employee engagement.
• Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent, ensuring staffing needs align with growth objectives.
• Monitor and improve employee productivity through performance management and development programs.
• Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits structures.
• Oversee staff welfare and wellness initiatives to promote a healthy and supportive work environment.
• Foster strong employee relations and maintain open communication between staff and management.
• Manage HR budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize impact.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to address HR needs and support organizational priorities.
• Maintain accurate HR records and manage claims in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or similar HR role.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to organizational objectives.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
• Familiarity with Malaysian labor laws and HR best practices.
