HR Head

JOB SUMMARY

The HR Head – Generalist is responsible for overseeing the overall Human Resources functions of the company, ensuring effective people management, compliance with Philippine labor laws, and alignment of HR strategies with business objectives. The role covers recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, and HR administration, with a focus on supporting the unique workforce requirements of the media industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To handle HR related matters of less than 20 employees.
• Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and offboarding.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with company objectives and Philippine labor laws.
• Manage employee relations, grievance handling, disciplinary cases, and conflict resolution.
• Oversee compensation and benefits, payroll coordination, performance appraisal, and employee records.
• Lead workforce planning and talent acquisition for creative, production, technical, editorial, sales, and corporate positions.
• Develop employee training, leadership development, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with DOLE regulations, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Partner with department heads to address manpower requirements, organizational development, and workforce concerns.
• Manage the HR budget, monitor key HR metrics, and recommend improvements to HR processes.
• Support a productive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace suited to the fast-paced media environment.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong background in HR generalist functions and Philippine labor laws.
• Experience in the media, broadcasting, entertainment, advertising, or creative industry is an advantage.
• Very good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential matters, manage competing priorities, and work effectively with diverse teams.
• Proficient in HR systems, Microsoft Office, and HR reporting and analytics.

Work setup: Onsite

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm

Location: ABS-CBN premises, Quezon City

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
