HR INTERN

About the role

Sert Technology Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated HR Intern to join our Human Resources team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to launch their career in Human Resources and gain practical experience in a dynamic, professional environment. Based in General Trias City, Cavite, this role offers invaluable exposure to a wide range of HR functions and the chance to contribute meaningfully to our organizational success. As an HR Intern, you will support our HR team whilst developing foundational knowledge and skills in generalist HR practices, including recruitment, employee relations, and administrative functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment activities including job posting, candidate screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating the hiring process
• Support employee onboarding activities and help maintain accurate employee records and documentation
• Help coordinate HR-related events, training sessions, and employee engagement initiatives
• Provide administrative support to the HR team, including data entry, filing, and database management
• Assist with preparation of HR reports and presentations
• Support payroll administration tasks under supervision
• Help maintain HR compliance by ensuring adherence to company policies and relevant employment regulations
• Assist with employee relations matters and respond to general HR inquiries from staff members

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment
• A genuine interest in Human Resources and eagerness to learn
• Basic understanding of HR functions and employment law (preferred)
• Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information
• Proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities
