About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated HR Intern to join our Human Resources team at our office in General Trias City, Cavite. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in human resources and consulting practices within a growing technology organisation. As an HR Intern, you will work alongside experienced HR professionals and contribute to a wide range of HR initiatives and projects. This role is instrumental in supporting the delivery of HR services and gaining real-world insight into the consulting and generalist HR function. This is a hands-on position where you will be based on-site at our General Trias City, Cavite location.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment activities, including job posting distribution, initial candidate screening, and scheduling of interviews
• Support the onboarding process for new employees, including preparation of documentation and orientation materials
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection requirements
• Help coordinate employee engagement activities, training programmes, and company events
• Provide administrative support to the HR team, including document preparation, filing, and scheduling
• Assist in gathering and compiling HR metrics and data for reporting purposes
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Respond to general employee enquiries and direct them appropriately within the HR function
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement efforts

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree programme in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR management systems is advantageous
• A genuine interest in human resources and a desire to learn about HR practices and consulting principles
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to tasks and challenges
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic business environment
• Basic understanding of employment law and HR compliance requirements is preferred
