HR intern

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive HR Intern to join our Human Resources team at Ditrolic Sdn Bhd. This contract position is based in Ara Damansara, Selangor, and offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources and Consulting & Generalist HR practices. As an HR Intern, you will support our HR team in delivering essential people and organisational development initiatives whilst working in a collaborative and professional environment.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with recruitment and selection processes, including job posting, candidate screening, and coordination of interviews
• Supporting the onboarding and induction of new employees, including preparation of documentation and orientation materials
• Maintaining and updating employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
• Helping with the administration of HR policies and procedures across the organisation
• Assisting with the coordination of HR events, training sessions and employee engagement activities
• Supporting the preparation of HR reports and performance metrics
• Providing general administrative support to the HR team
• Contributing to HR projects and initiatives as directed by senior HR staff

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive employee information
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop HR knowledge and skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Familiarity with HR systems and databases is advantageous
• Previous HR or recruitment internship experience would be beneficial
