HR Intern

About the role

We are seeking an HR Intern to join FILOIL GAS and ENERGY COMPANY, INC. in Taguig City, Metro Manila on a part-time basis. This internship presents an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in human resources and contribute meaningfully to our HR operations. As an HR Intern, you will support various HR functions whilst developing your understanding of HR practices within the energy sector. This role is instrumental in helping you build a foundation for a career in human resources and will expose you to diverse aspects of HR consulting and generalist functions.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the recruitment and selection process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
• Assisting with employee onboarding and orientation programmes to ensure smooth integration of new team members
• Maintaining and updating employee records and HR databases with accurate information
• Helping to coordinate HR administrative tasks such as benefits administration and payroll support
• Assisting with the organisation and execution of employee engagement activities and events
• Supporting the development and distribution of HR policies and procedures documentation
• Gathering data and assisting in the preparation of HR reports and analytics
• Providing general administrative support to the HR team as required

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling sensitive employee information
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Professional demeanour and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
• Familiarity with HR systems and databases is advantageous but not essential
