HR Internship Programme

About the role

This 6-month HR Internship Programme is designed to give you practical exposure to the full employee lifecycle, from the moment a vacancy is opened until an employee eventually leaves the company. You'll work closely with the HR team and gradually learn how recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and day-to-day HR operations come together in a real working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post job advertisements, source and screen potential candidates, and conduct initial candidate screening
• Arrange and participate in interviews and follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process
• Maintain recruitment records and candidate pipelines
• Prepare employment documents and onboarding materials
• Collect and check new hire documentation and coordinate employees' first-day and deployment arrangements
• Brief new employees on basic company policies and procedures and update and maintain employee records
• Support the HR team in handling employees' day-to-day enquiries and learn how attendance, leave and employee performance matters are managed
• Communicate and follow up with employees on HR-related matters and coordinate with different departments on employee and manpower matters
• Gain exposure to how workplace concerns and employee issues are handled and assist in documenting employee discussions and follow-ups
• Support resignation and termination processes, prepare offboarding documentation, and coordinate clearance and return of company property

About you

• Students or fresh graduates pursuing Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• Strong interest in building a career in Human Resources
• Comfortable speaking and communicating with different people
• Organised and attentive to details
• Willing to learn and take initiative
• Able to handle information professionally and confidentially
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• No prior HR experience required — guidance and training will be provided
