HR Management Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and analytical HR Management Trainee to join our Human Resources Department. This programme is designed for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who are passionate about building a long-term career in Human Resources. You will undergo a structured HR functional rotation programme, gaining hands-on exposure to various HR functions, business operations and workforce management. Through the programme, you will have the opportunity to develop both HR functional knowledge and business acumen while working closely with experienced HR professionals and business leaders.

Key responsibilities:

• Participate in structured rotations across various HR functions and business operations.
• Support Talent Acquisition activities, including recruitment coordination and candidate management.
• Gain exposure to Employee Relations, Learning & Development and Performance Management.
• Support Workforce Planning and HR Data Analytics, including workforce reporting and data analysis.
• Support HR operations at Gateway / Transit Centres and Outlets / Franchise Operations.
• Prepare HR reports, presentations and workforce-related analysis.
• Assist in HR projects and initiatives assigned by the HR team.
• Work closely with HR Business Partners and relevant stakeholders to understand business and manpower needs.
• Complete assigned projects and present findings to the management panel.
• Take on additional responsibilities based on rotation requirements and business needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, Industrial Relations or a related discipline.
• Open to fresh graduates or candidates with no more than 2 years of working experience.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.50 or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of Malaysian employment law and HR practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Able to prepare reports, analyse workforce data and deliver presentations.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and an interest in HR analytics.
• Proficient in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude, adaptable and willing to learn.
