About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Corporate HR Manager to lead the centralized Human Resources function for a dynamic, multi-industry family group of companies operating across Cebu and Gensan.
In this strategic leadership position, you will work closely with the owner-family and senior executives to design, harmonize, and enforce group-level HR strategies, governance, and organizational frameworks. You will play a pivotal role in driving workforce strategy, scaling people systems across multiple subsidiaries, and preserving core family values while supporting group growth and succession.
Key Responsibilities
- Group HR Strategy & Governance: Formulate and execute group-wide HR strategies that align with business objectives and owner values. Establish family employment policies, governance frameworks, and conflict-of-interest guidelines.
- Policy Harmonization & Compliance: Draft, standardize, and roll out group-wide HR policies (employment contracts, C&B, leave, discipline, data privacy, and code of conduct) while managing entity-specific variations.
- Organization Design & Workforce Planning: Lead org design, role architecture, job grading, career paths, and headcount budgeting across subsidiaries. Design succession plans for key executive and family roles.
- Talent Management & Development: Implement performance management frameworks, competency models, talent reviews, and leadership programs to support career mobility across entities.
- Total Rewards & Payroll Oversight: Develop compensation philosophies, salary scaling structures, and incentive programs. Oversee accurate payroll delivery and statutory compliance (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR, 13th-month pay).
- Employee Relations & Culture: Advise leadership on complex labor issues, conflict resolution, and separations under Philippine Labor Law. Foster an engaging culture rooted in family values.
- HR Systems & Analytics: Implement and manage an HRIS tailored for multi-entity reporting. Deliver HR dashboards and workforce analytics to owners and board members.
- Stakeholder Management & Mentorship: Serve as the strategic HR partner to the Group CEO/COO, business unit heads, and external legal/finance advisors. Mentor and upskill subsidiary-level HR personnel.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of total experience in Human Resources, with at least 8 years in an HR Managerial role.
- Structure & Industry Background: Proven track record in establishing HR governance for family corporations, holding companies, or group operations. Experience across diverse sectors such as Food & Hospitality, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Agriculture, or Agri-Industrial is highly preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in salary scaling, job grading, compensation design, policy drafting, and training/development.
- Labor Law & Compliance: Deep understanding of Philippine Labor Code, employee relations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Leadership & Influence: Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with the maturity and confidence to partner directly with owner-families and executive leadership.
