HR Manager

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to support our growing operations in Malaysia. This role partners with functional leaders to drive HR operations, payroll, employee experience and compliance while ensuring a positive and high-performing workspace.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy and Business Partnering

• Partner with CEO and functional leaders on people strategies and workforce planning
• Provide guidance on employee relations, HR systems and policies
• Support the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, transfers, promotions and offboarding

Payroll & Rewards

• Manage end-to-end payroll for Malaysia
• Ensure payroll accuracy, statutory compliance and timely processing
• Manage employee benefits, tax reporting, leave administration and insurance
• Support annual salary reviews, bonuses and promotion exercises

HR Operations & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR policies in Malaysia
• Maintain HRIS, employee records and HR reporting
• Support HR process improvements, audits and digitalisation initiatives
• Oversee office administration, workplace services and vendor management

Employee Engagement

• Handle employee relations matters including investigations, grievances and disciplinary cases
• Partner with stakeholders to continuously improve the employee experience

Role Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline
• At least 8 years of progressive HR experience, with strong exposure to:

o   Multi-Unit HR Operations

o   Mass Recruitment

o   Malaysia Payroll and Benefits

o   Employment Legislation and Compliance

o   Employee Relations

• Hands-on experience managing outsourced payroll vendors
• Good understanding of Malaysia employment laws, statutory requirements and payroll regulations
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a regional and matrix organisation
