HR Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager/Executive to join our team at M.M.B Marketing Company Sdn Bhd in Kuching, Sarawak. As an HR professional, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic direction of our human resources function and ensuring our employees are supported and empowered to deliver outstanding results.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, and employee relations
• Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies, procedures and best practices to support our business objectives
• Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters
• Manage the company's compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they remain competitive and aligned with industry standards
• Collaborate with the leadership team to identify and address organisational development needs
• Maintain compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
• Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals to ensure high levels of engagement and performance

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior HR management role, preferably within the F&B or professional services industry
• Proven track record of implementing successful HR strategies and initiatives that drive business performance
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and analytical capabilities
• Proficient in using HR information systems and data analysis tools
• Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations in Malaysia
• Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field
