HR Manager

About the role

The HR Manager plans and manages human resources work in alignment with company policies and objectives. This role oversees recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and compliance with labour laws and company regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage human resources work in accordance with company policies and objectives
• Manage recruitment and selection to meet staffing requirements
• Oversee and develop training and development systems, including personnel development plans
• Manage compensation, benefits, and employee welfare
• Oversee employee relations and activities to build employee engagement
• Monitor compliance with labour laws, regulations, and company policies
• Analyse and prepare HR KPI and manpower planning reports for management
• Provide advice to management and department heads on HR and personnel management matters
• Manage and develop the HR team to work efficiently

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resource Management, Political Science, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 7–10 years of HR experience with manager-level experience
• Experience in industrial manufacturing or automotive manufacturing is highly valued
• Knowledge of labour law, HRM, HRD, and employee relations
• Team management skills, data analysis capability, and problem-solving ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and HR systems
• Leadership qualities and strong communication and coordination skills
