We believe our people are our greatest asset, continuously investing in an environment where talent thrives and professional growth is encouraged at every level.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to join our team in Johor Bahru. This full-time position plays a pivotal role in shaping our human resources strategy, managing regional and central operations (including our outlets in Putrajaya and Puchong), and supporting overall business objectives.
As HR Manager, you will oversee end-to-end HR functions—from policy development and talent acquisition to compliance, payroll administration, and employee relations—acting as a trusted strategic advisor to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee HR policies, procedures, and programmes aligned with organisational goals and Malaysian employment legislation.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, including job profiling, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Manage employee relations, performance management, disciplinary matters, grievances, and fair terminations.
- Oversee group payroll administration, time-tracking, benefits management, and compensation reviews (utilising platforms like Info-Tech Cloud HRMS and SQL Payroll).
- Design and deliver training and development programmes to support workforce skill enhancement.
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR documentation in compliance with data protection laws.
- Support workforce planning, compliance scheduling, and operational HR calendars.
- Monitor and promote workplace health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Provide strategic HR guidance to senior management and outlet managers across all locations.
What We're Looking For
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Mandarin (preferred for internal/external stakeholder communications); strong working proficiency in Malay and English is highly desired.
- Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or consulting capacity with end-to-end functional ownership.
- Legal & Statutory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Malaysian employment law, labour regulations, and statutory compliance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS platforms, payroll software (e.g., SQL Payroll / Info-Tech Cloud HRMS), and data reporting.
- Core Competencies: Strong conflict resolution, communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Qualifications: Professional HR qualifications (e.g., CIPD or equivalent) are an advantage.
What We Offer
- Comprehensive benefits including health claim, annual leave, and statutory contributions.
- Opportunities for continuous professional development, HR certifications, and industry exposure.
- A supportive, collaborative, and innovation-driven workplace culture.
- Exposure to strategic business initiatives with a direct impact on organizational growth.
