HR MANAGER

About the role

Manage the full spectrum of HR and Administration functions, with responsibility for developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and SOPs in compliance with Malaysian employment laws and BURSA.

Key responsibilities

• Malaysian Employment Law: Deep familiarity with the Employment Act, industrial relations (IR/ER), and handling grievances or disciplinary matters.

• Statutory Compliance: Hands-on management of EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and income tax/payroll processing.

• Corporate Governance: Understanding of public-listed reporting expectations, policy framework setup, and employee handbooks.

• Specialized (if applicable): : Foreign worker permits, licensing, and accommodation management for manufacturing/construction sectors; or long-term incentive plans (LTIP) for corporate groups.

• Stakeholder Management: Direct reporting to the CEO or influencing senior leadership and Board committees.

• Performance & Rewards: Designing KPIs, structured appraisal systems, salary structures, and benefits frameworks.

• Team Guidance: Mentoring junior HR executives or generalists.
