HR Manager

The HR Manager oversees recruitment, onboarding, labor compliance, payroll coordination, and employee relations for the river cruise operation, ensuring alignment with local labor laws, inland waterway vessel regulations, and company policy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and documentation for onboard and onshore staff (joining letters, contracts, licenses, ID/permits, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and inland waterway/vessel regulations; liaise with labor offices during audits or investigations.
• Maintain crew records, joining letters, pay slips, licenses, attendance, wages, and leave data, audit-ready at all times.
• Coordinate with payroll/finance on wages, and duty/shift scheduling.
• Manage end-to-end PF/ESIC compliance, registration, monthly contributions/challans, remittance, records, and liaison with authorities for filings, inspections, or claims.
• Handle grievances, disciplinary matters, and crew welfare initiatives.
• Design and oversee employee engagement programs (recognition, celebrations, team-building, feedback sessions).
• Prepare HR reports and compliance documentation for management and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–10 years of HR experience; river cruise, hospitality, or hotel background preferred.
• Working knowledge of local labor laws and statutory compliance, including PF/ESIC.
• Experience with labor office audits/inspections is a plus.

Skills

• Strong documentation and compliance management.
• Good interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency in HR/payroll software and MS Office.
• Comfortable in an onboard, close-knit team environment.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
