Best Bakers is an established bakery and food business operating 28 outlets across Kottayam and Pathanamthitta, along with catering services. As part of our next phase of growth, we are expanding our outlet network, strengthening our leadership team, introducing innovative products and reaching new customer segments, including Gen Z.

About the Role

Best Bakers is entering a new phase of growth, with plans to open new outlets, expand its customer base, strengthen its brand and build a professional leadership team across departments. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on HR Manager to lead talent acquisition, statutory compliance and HR operations. The candidate will play a key role in recruiting senior Heads of Departments (HODs), building teams for new outlets and establishing scalable HR processes to support our expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership Hiring: Drive end-to-end recruitment and onboarding of senior HODs across Production, Operations, Purchase, Marketing, R&D and other business functions.
• Expansion Hiring: Develop and execute manpower plans for new outlets, including managerial, operational, production and frontline positions.
• Talent Acquisition: Establish effective sourcing strategies, recruitment processes and talent pipelines to attract qualified professionals.
• HR Compliance: Ensure adherence to applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, EPF, ESI and other employment-related regulations.
• HR Operations: Oversee payroll coordination, attendance, leave management, employee documentation and HR administration.
• HR Process Development: Implement standardized HR policies, SOPs, induction programmes and performance management systems across all outlets.
• Employee Relations: Manage employee grievances, engagement, retention and disciplinary processes.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 - 10 years of HR experience, with a strong background in recruitment and statutory compliance.
• Mandatory experience in the F&B industry, preferably with bakery chains, QSR brands, restaurant chains, catering businesses or food manufacturing companies.
• Proven experience in senior management recruitment and high-volume frontline hiring.
• Experience managing HR operations across multiple outlets or business locations.
• Strong knowledge of Kerala labour laws and applicable statutory requirements.
• Ability to independently manage HR functions and support organizational growth.
• Candidates from Kerala are preferred.

Ideal candidate: An experienced F&B HR professional who can recruit senior departmental leaders, build teams for new outlets and establish scalable HR systems to support Best Bakers' expansion.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
