HR Advisor (Part-Time, Immediate Start)

Melbourne | 3 Days Per Week | Contract to 20 December | Potential to Extend

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HR Administrator / Advisor to join a growing education provider during a period of transition and growth.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, is highly organised, and can confidently support a broad range of HR activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping to keep the people function running smoothly while supporting workforce planning initiatives and the implementation of a new HR platform.

This position is offered on a 3-day-per-week basis and requires an immediate start.

About the Role

Reporting into the leadership team, you will provide operational HR support across a variety of people-related activities, including:

• HR administration and employee lifecycle support
• Maintaining employee records and HR documentation
• Supporting workforce planning activities
• Assisting with HR systems and process improvements
• Supporting the transition to a new HR platform
• Responding to day-to-day HR queries
• Coordinating onboarding and employment paperwork
• Providing general HR coordination support to leaders and staff
• Assisting with HR projects and initiatives as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Administrator or similar position
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience maintaining confidential employee information
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
• Experience within education will be highly regarded but is not essential
