HR Officer

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable HR Officer to join our team in Johor Bahru. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our HR operations with a primary focus on end-to-end payroll administration, attendance management, and statutory audit compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and process accurate, timely monthly payroll for all employees.
• Administer statutory deductions and contributions, ensuring full compliance with EPF (KWSP), SOCSO (PERKESO), EIS, and PCB (LHDN).
• Act as the primary liaison for external auditors during statutory, financial, or tax audits to ensure smooth verification and strict compliance with local laws.
• Track and monitor daily staff attendance, leave applications, overtimes, and absenteeism using the internal HRMS system.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• 2 years of professional HR experience, with demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role or consulting capacity
• Knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, employment regulations and statutory requirements
• Proficiency in HR payroll systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organisational levels
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
