HR Officer

Role & responsibilities

• HR Budgeting :
• o Consolidate historical data under specific budgetary heads (compensation, benefits, administration etc.) as an input for budget preparation
• o Prepare monthly reports for review of HR budget & cost tracking • Employee Relations :
• o Participate directly or coordinate for completion of meetings of various co-managed committees
• o Create an environment of fairness by continuously interacting with Shop floor Managers and operators
• o Lead the grievance redressal process for the plant
• o Supports Assistant HRM to create the event calendar for the unit and ensures active participation of the workforce at all level
• o Ability to resolve workmen queries related to all statutory requirements and help them in coordination with relevant govt. department
• • Statutory Compliance:
• o Ensure the statutory compliance applicable to unit are adhered to o Ensure the monthly returns are filed before deadlines
• o Have end to end knowledge of working on EPF, ESIC, PT portals
• o Experienced in liaising with government authorities
• o Ensure all statutory requirement at the time of joining of workmen are adhered too •
• Lateral Recruitment (factory workforce):
• Finalize and coordinate with various recruitment sources (e.g. newspaper advertisements, employment exchanges etc.)
• o Conduct recruitment tests for candidates
• o Analyze and declare recruitment related test results
• o Coordinate for completion of second and final interview
• o Coordinate for medical check of candidate
• o Conduct referral check and offer making formalities •
• On Boarding and Induction :
• o For workmen, complete joining formalities and handover to respective department
• o Update new joinee details for payroll purposes • Compensation (factory workforce) :
• o Conduct workman compensation survey along with AHRM as and when required
• o Analyze and present survey findings/recommendations to factory HR manager and factory manager after thorough verification of data • Performance Management(factory workforce) :
• o Coordinate with shift managers for execution of appraisals
• o Consolidate appraisal ratings in desired format
• • HR Policy Design and Revision (factory workforce) :
• o Communicate and implement HR policies at factory and resolve queries
• Employee Engagement :
• o Coordinate and ensure timely implementation of the initiatives
• o Track effectiveness of initiatives undertaken
• • Exit Management: Communicate resignation related details to factory HR manager (factory, finance HO, HR HO etc.)

Preferred candidate profile

Post Graduate in HR/IR with minimum 3-4 years of plant HR related experience in mid size manufacturing organization
