HR OFFICER

About the Role

We are seeking a talented HR Officer to join our team at AGO STEEL CORPORATION. This is a full-time role based in Ibaan, Batangas. As HR Officer, you will play a crucial part in supporting the overall human resources function, ensuring our employees are well taken care of and that our talent practices are aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Partnering with managers to understand their staffing needs and support the recruitment and onboarding of new hires
2. Administering and processing payroll, benefits, and other HR-related activities
3. Maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations
4. Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices
5. Providing training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and performance
6. Assisting with employee relations matters and helping to resolve any workplace issues
7. Participating in HR projects and initiatives to continuously improve our HR function
8. Additional experience in accounting is an advantage.

What We're Looking For

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
2. At least 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
3. Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels
5. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
6. Problem-solving mindset and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
7. Passion for employee engagement and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment
