HR Officer

About the role

The HR Officer takes care of the company's people. This person handles hiring, employee records, attendance, benefits, and employee concerns. The HR Officer also makes sure the company follows labor laws and company rules.

Key responsibilities

• Post job openings and look for qualified applicants
• Set interviews and help choose the right people to hire
• Prepare job offers, contracts, and onboarding papers for new employees
• Give orientation to new employees about company rules and policies
• Keep employee files (201 files) complete, updated, and private
• Check daily attendance, tardiness, absences, and leaves
• Send attendance and leave records to payroll on time
• Handle government benefits like SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG (registration, contributions, and claims)
• Track contract end dates, regular status, and evaluation schedules
• Help prepare employee performance evaluations

About you

• Graduate of BS Psychology, BS Human Resource Management, or any related course
• At least 2 years of work experience in HR
• Knows Philippine labor laws and DOLE rules
• Knows how SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG work
• Good at using Excel or Google Sheets
• Good at talking and listening to people
• Fair, honest, and can keep employee information private
• Organized and good with details
• Can handle many tasks and finish work on time
• Good at speaking and writing in English and Filipino
