Hr Operations Associate

Role - Own the employee lifecycle from offer acceptance to attendance, with accuracy and speed. Excel is your main tool.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding: Document collection, joining formalities, employee code creation and HRIS updates. Coordinate with TA, IT and Admin for a smooth Day 1.
• Pre-BGV: Initiate and track background verification, follow up on pending cases and escalate red flags.
• Attendance & Leave: Process monthly attendance, regularisation and LOP, and share timely inputs with Payroll.
• MIS & Reporting: Maintain trackers and reports on joiners, BGV status, attendance and headcount.

Requirements

• Strong Excel: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, COUNTIFS/SUMIFS, data cleaning
• High attention to detail and comfort with large datasets
• Sharp, proactive and persistent in follow-ups, with ownership of work end to end
• Graduate or postgraduate (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred, not mandatory)

Good to Have

• Internship or project exposure in HR operations
• Familiarity with HRIS tools (HROne, Keka, greytHR or similar)
