HR Operations Consultant

About the Role:
As an HR Consultant, you will partner closely with clients and managers throughout the performance review process. You will attend performance review meetings, provide guidance on best-practice approaches, and support leaders in managing performance conversations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and support performance review meetings with clients and their employees
• Provide practical HR guidance before, during and following performance discussions
• Coach managers on how to approach challenging or sensitive performance conversations
• Support performance improvement plans and ongoing performance management processes
• Ensure performance matters are managed fairly, consistently and appropriately
• Act as a trusted HR advisor to clients and key stakeholders
• Build strong relationships with managers and business leaders
• Provide pragmatic advice across a range of people and performance matters
• Confidently navigate sensitive and challenging conversations

About You

• Experience working as an HR Consultant, HR Business Partner, People Partner or similar
• Strong experience supporting performance management processes
• Confident sitting in on and advising during performance review conversations
• Comfortable managing sensitive employee matters
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment practices and HR frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Commercial, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
• Strong judgement, discretion and professionalism
