HR Recruiter

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Recruitment Specialist to manage full-cycle recruitment and mass hiring for our Malaysian operations. You will be responsible for multi-channel sourcing, employer branding, and ensuring strict compliance with local employment regulations. This role requires a proactive professional who thrives in Malaysia’s diverse, multilingual talent market.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle recruitment independently, from requirement alignment and channel posting to mass hiring, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding, with a primary focus on customer service and high-volume roles.

• Drive multi-channel sourcing strategies by actively managing JobStreet, LinkedIn, and Xiaohongshu (RED) to tap into the Chinese-speaking talent pool, while continuously evaluating channel conversion rates to optimize the talent pipeline.

• Conduct end-to-end candidate communication, interview assessments, and salary negotiations in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, ensuring a polite and respectful candidate experience tailored to the local multicultural environment.

• Ensure full compliance with the Employment Act 1955 and State Labour Department regulations, accurately managing statutory benefits including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and HRDF to mitigate employment risks.

• Track recruitment funnel metrics to generate regular performance reports, and actively maintain employer branding across social platforms to enhance candidate engagement and attract top local talent.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills with professional proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, capable of navigating a multilingual workplace.

• 2-3 years of local recruitment experience in Malaysia, with a solid understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle; prior experience in customer service recruitment or mass hiring is highly preferred.

• Hands-on experience with Malaysian recruitment platforms (especially JobStreet and LinkedIn) and Xiaohongshu (RED); solid knowledge of local labor laws, employment policies, and statutory contributions.

• Highly goal-oriented with strong self-drive, adaptability, and the ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Malaysian citizen or permanent resident with a deep understanding of the local job market and cultural nuances.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing high-volume recruitment campaigns and meeting aggressive hiring targets within tight deadlines.

• Prior experience in employer branding or social media recruitment specifically targeting diverse ethnic groups (Malay, Chinese, Indian) in Malaysia.

• Familiarity with local public holiday calendars (e.g., Hari Raya, CNY, Deepavali, Christmas) and their impact on recruitment timelines and workforce planning.
